My mind drifts and wanders
I am lost in your thoughts
Wonder why I feel so lonely
When the whole world is mine

Dreams, a thousand I have
Passions, a million I possess
Love, I have it in excess
Yet, there is something missing

You are the reason I live

Life is not in our control
For the Good Lord wields his power
He brought us together
I had a few moments of laughter

You gave me hope to last a lifetime
I cling on them with all my strength
But I am losing the battle dear
The loneliness is tearing me apart
