I've been this way, ever since we broke up
Thoughts come to my mind in a haze
It seems like yesterday we shared love
Now all we do is hate each other

The taste of your love still lingers on
Can't forget those tender moments
They hit me like a thousand knives
I wonder why I am so numb!

Well, life goes on as it should be
It stops for nothing and for no one
I carry this pain forever in my broken heart
Yet, it's time for me to make a new start
